why does the install for the mac version not work? i installed it reinstalled deleted it deleted itch and redownloaded it and it hasnt worked once can someone please help?

In Terminal
cd /MacOS
chmod +x ./MAC\ 4.09

You need to change your default install location. Search online how to change your default install location for whichever browser you use
