We're getting as much done as we can by the end of this year, we might not get all the enemies in, but I think we can get level 3 functional and playable by then!
Not sure what the cause is, but I'm occasionally getting locked into the crouch. I can't get Max to stand again, slides do not move Max forwards, and after each corruption, he returns to crouching :( Only refreshing the game fixes it
Very fun game. I am loving the art style. Found a minor bug at the end of level 2 where if you are zoomed in when you reach the sphinx, you can still jump when you press play. Very minor bug, just thought I would mention it.
i have a fun but probably hard to implement idea, costumes for beating/doing very well on certain levels. like a costume to look like the bee enemy for beating level 1. or a neko costume for beating level 2. etc
I get that its supposed to be a lewd game but its not very fun when you are constantly getting trapped. I got out of one enemy then got into another then another before the invincibility was even over. Even when I do get out I'm with multiple enemies who I can't escape from because any way out leads me to getting trapped. Its a good game but I just want to be able to get out of those situation. I can use my powers but it happens more than three times. Not to mention I'm not even sure if they're is a way to get out of the enemy who comes from behind. I tried jumping but that didn't work and I could use powers but it happens more than three times.
You can hold your jump to hover in the air, which is how you avoid the Sex Swap Demons. You can also use Maxturbate if youre close to being corrupted to reset it and give you a better chance going forward.
I glitched my game. There was an enemy spawned in front of Cleo(?) person thingy who gives you the riddles
When I got closer the enemy disappeared and their text started playing, but for some reason could still move. Jumped over them and then headed to the entrance they were guarding and then beat it somehow
Not sure if this is a me (my hardware/software) problem, an itch.io problem, or a game problem. Anyone else getting such errors? I tried playing on an old desktop and had it black screen after the controls instructions screens, then I tried playing other games and noticed it said my browser didn't support WebGL, apparently it doesn't work on Chrome if your graphics card is too old... so then I switched to my laptop, which I've played Max the Elf on before, and got this error at the same point, after the intro and controls instructions screens.
Working hard on level 3 still! It's taking a bit longer than I thought, but I am putting a lot of effort into it, my best guess is to release it before Christmas this year!
also i don't think max is even lewd at all and ill tell ya why. in level every level so far when max gets grabbed all he wants is to be let go. the fairy nymph in level one proves this by max's animation when he gets grabbed by fairy nymph . same goes for the wolf-human enemy in level 2 (no i dont know the enemies name) when max gets grabbed by her all he wants is let go. also in level 1 the "eggy" enemy hypnotizes max into "maxturbating" so he has no idea whats going on. and same applies for the ghostie enemy in level 2. does the same thing eggy does. those 4 enemies are proof that max isnt even lewd at all. the enemies are the only lewd ones in the game
From my "Research" on good old google they are called traps my friend and they are cd guys who obviously looks like a girl and is also gay. So he's a trap
by the way when you punch back enemies in level 1 it says it doesnt kill but thats not true it takes 2 punches to kill normal enemies, however with the tenti vines it only takes one punch to kill them which is fine with me because i wanna use as few of my special attacks as posible
surprisingly fun to play honestly, however on level 2 with Cleo's quiz it kinda wastes too much time allowing for the portal to close up because you have to think fast and im not a fast thinker

I don't know why you found it difficult. I went through level 1 without knowing how to punch, so I just jumped. I still beat it that way.
