you should just seperate the game into different sections so you can play on broswer, like make the fourth level it's own thing and cut the other 3 but keep the 3 on a different version of the game. You get what i mean?
That sounds like a headache for the developer. It's just easier for them to keep it at a version that can run on browser with as much content available for you as possible and if you like what you see, you'll download the game.
I still don't see why we can't have the level 3 gallery. I mean, those animations already exist, and new pngs for the game over screens don't take much space. It'll still run. And I've run SCRATCH GAMES bigger than this on a chromebook with the processing power of a toaster.
When i try to download the game on mac, and i have to copy the file path to go to the terminal, it says i need to copy "mac 4.09" as a file name. Is that the same as "copy file path" or is it different?
You need to change the default program for that file type Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Default Programs then select associatea file type or protocol with a program and change .rar to your rar opener

use space bar to jump, and arrows keys (minus the up arrow) to duck (down arrow), walk forward (right arrow), and walk backwards (left arrow). E does a kill all attack (3 charges per chapter attempt), and q is basic attack.

In previous versions WASD also control Max, and the intro still says this. And when you get captured to break out, the game still has you use A & D to try to break out. There's clear indication that WASD is supposed to work for movement but it doesn't.
Hoodie, we are not able to install v4.09 via the Itch App. There is some sort of error during the unrar phase; tried in a clean environment with no anti-virus and the issue persists. Downloading via web-browser and decompressing it works, but it would be nice to sort this out so we can keep it managed via the app with the rest of our games.
Level 4 is too difficult. I keep getting swarmed and using up all my "clear all enemies" attacks and failing just before the end of the level. also what the heck is the hitbox on the hidden floor fairies/horseback ride thing!? I jump over where it should be, land where it shouldn't, and BAM I'm caught!
How do you dodge a sword attack in level 4 boss? I've jumped, dodged, and punched, and it doesn't work. At least you should tell me how to dodge every move next time.
Maybe add dificulty levels on all levels that would be nice every difficulty level spawns a specific amount of those, rather than everytime hardcore mode like it's almost impossible to win fr.

Game doesn't downoad. I hit the button, it goes through the motions, loads, but then nothing. There's no file. Just nothing.

you are wrong, it is not chmod a+x but chmod +x <filename>

I don't usually use WASD but I do know that at the very least S works. I use it for sliding

yeah via the web page. you need to unpack it yourself but it work

I would suggest sliding. It regenerates, takes out multiple threads and dodges the witch spell
at least you can play it unlike us mac users
