If you see the file in "MacOS" folder turn black with the words in green read "exec". your game is now playable.
While trying to install the latest update it keeps failing and I run into this error message: An Error occurred during installation rar: an entry cannot be decompressed
game was good but the difficulty needs to be lowered SEVERELY. i tried like 8 times to finish level 3 and i cannot do it. the thing where you press a and d to escape goes up WAY too slow while the white bar top left buids WAY too fast, plus there's wayyyy too many enemies and there's never enough time to hold x to relieve some of the white bar.
great game. great art. great animations. easy controls. my one and only complaint is the difficulty, this game is wayyyy too hard. i made an account on this website specifically to comment about it.
This games difficulty is absolute cancer, there are SO MANY ENEMIES. I can't take two steps without having to wait or I get grabbed. That's my only complaint though.

i'm trying to download on mac, and when i copy the MAC 4.09 file into terminal and write chmod a+x, then the file name, it says that it is a invalid file mode. Someone suggested chmod +x, but that didn't work either. any way to get the file to not be invalid (I am using the latest version of macos and an apple silicon chip)
This will run the application and the security center will then prompt you to allow or disallow it Once you allow it in the security center Settings>Privacy&Security>Bottom portion as you scroll down The application will open and run
And is the game supposed to be finished in one run? Like continuous? No saves? I just went to level 2, I quit, then I tried playing again. But its on level 1.
Been following this game for a bit and decided to comment. Unironically... this is one of the games that made me realize I was bi. Not sure how anyone can use that information, but there it is. The art style is fantastic, the animations are... alluring, and the mechanics are very good at being used one-handed. Great game, keep it up!
Hello. In your max the elf website, the download link for Android is broken. It keeps opening and looping to the same page without triggering the download. I hope you can resolve this problem. Best wishes.

On the icon > show contents
On Contents folder > open terminal at this location
In Terminal
cd /MacOS
chmod +x ./MAC\ 4.09
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine ./MAC\ 4.09
./MAC\ 4.09

It's a password system, each level has a password once you beat it if you'd like to continue.

I use proton experimental and don’t have much problems. I simply added the game to steam and launched it with the experimental steam proton.
Since I have to use the arrow keys to control Max I wrote a python script that binds my arrow keys to WASD.
